Their team of M.D. psychiatrists are available 24/7 to ensure the best care for their patients. Casa Palmera follows a 12-Step program and incorporates relapse prevention, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and emotional freedom techniques (EFT). They additionally have holistic methods in their treatment plan, and some of these include restorative yoga, a ropes course, art therapy, and nature walks. They also offer intensive outpatient (IOP) and a Day Treatment (PHP). Casa Palmera is currently in the process of building their Neurocenter to work more with the neuroscience behind addiction, and this center will include transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). When first coming to Casa Palmera, their staff conducts some assessments of physical and mental health to create an individualized care plan. They then create a program based on what they call the four elements of overall health and recovery: medical and physiological health, lifestyle, mind-body health, and environment. They designed their center with the environmental aspect in mind, providing high quality accommodations and idyllic outdoor space to create total relaxation. Casa Palmera also has a strong alumni network with regular meetings. They are accredited by The Joint Commission and accept many types of private insurance.
