About Advanced Rapid Detox
Advanced Rapid Detox (ARD) specializes in a rapid detoxification process aimed at relieving clients of withdrawal symptoms. Under this procedure, clients are given IV sedation, allowing them to sleep through their withdrawal while a doctor administers medication to counter the effects of opiates on the receptors. This procedure helps clients avoid the severe pain that typically comes with a cold -turkey detox. After the detox is complete, clients are moved to private rooms where they receive their first Vivitrol injection—an opiate-blocker that helps reduce cravings. During their stay at ARD, clients receive round-the-clock care from a team of highly trained medical professionals who specialize in opiate detoxification. The team monitors clients closely to ensure a safe recovery. Following a day of rest, clients will meet with the doctor one last time to discuss follow-up care and then clients are free to go home or to another level of care elsewhere. All clients who go to ARD are eligible for their detox-related aftercare program.
With a focus on whole-person healing, Advanced Rapid Detox in Detroit, Michigan provides compassionate care that goes beyond symptom management. Their treatment programs address the underlying causes of addiction while building the foundation for long-term recovery success.
